For another character with the same name, see Walleye (II)

Walleye was a sworn brother of the Black Company. He was killed prior to the events of the first book, during the band's contract with the Syndic of Beryl.

The Black CompanyEdit

Walleye and Wild Bruce were the first of four Company members to be poisoned by the Blues after visiting the Mole Tavern. They were both killed by its effects. The Company physician, Croaker, developed an antidote for the poison by performing postmortem examinations on both men. Pokey and Curly, the next two victims, survived by drinking Croaker's potion.

Mercy, accompanied by Silent, Croaker, and others, soon confronted the barkeeper, Verus, and announced that he was charged with 2 counts of attempted murder and 2 counts of murder by the Syndic. They avenged the Blues' murders of Walleye and Wild Bruce in a bloodbath and many arrests.
