Battle of Juniper

The Battle of Juniper was also known as the Battle of the Black Castle. It involved the Lady’s efforts to destroy the Black Castle. The Dominator’s demons were sieged in their castle, but they initiated the first attack. Their goal was to grab enough bodies to finish the portal and to summon their master. Their rush was stopped by the Lieutenant’s catapults and ballistae. The Limper grabbed a sword and led the counterattack. The Castle was successfully destroyed with magic attacks and explosives.

That was also the last battle of the Black Company in service of Lady. They expected that their employer would eliminate them, so they fled in the midst of the battle. Their Captain died in an effort to cover their retreat.
