Abda was a member of the secret Stranglers cult. He was a "red rumel man", meaning he was an experienced killer. He was of Vehdna background. Abda was assigned by Narayan Singh as bodyguard for Lady for a time when she was in Taglios in Dreams of Steel. He was present with her, Sindhu, and others during a tense meeting with Mogaba at the Siege of Dejagore. After this, he disappears from the Annals; he may have been among the many Strangler fatalities of later events, but it is unconfirmed.
